Ayelet Yagil carved herself a niche as one of Israel's top music authorities, and one of the few women in the field. Open any leading streaming service, from Spotify and Apple Music to Tidal, and you will find her biographies on Israel's popstars featured there.

Starting as a teenage rock critic for a local Jerusalem paper, at 20 years old she joined the music industry and became Warner Music Label Manager.

Ayelet later took part in building Israel's biggest music online site, Mooma, and co-edited its one-of-a-kind music encyclopedia, the first in Hebrew. Within a few years she became a contributor to the All Music Guide.

As editor of the music section for Israel's top news site, ynet, she interviewed some of the biggest names in popular music, from pop icon Sir Rod Stewart to folk legend Pete Seeger. Her reviews of concerts by Paul McCartney, Paul Simon and Leonard Cohen each garnered over 190 thousand views.

Ayelet has worked with Microsoft as Music Expert on their streaming music service, Groove, and travelled the bridge between music and technology in many capacities, from working in music-related high-tech companies to establishing the annual "unconference" MuseNet.

Apart from her work in music, Ayelet Yagil translated seven books, such as Irvine Welsh's "Ecstasy" and "The Beatles: A Private View" by Robert Freeman. As a journalist in the IDF magazine, she interviewed the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Ofra Haza and many more.
